An expansive kitchen space reimagined from barn outbuildings forms just part of this cleverly converted, new single dwelling. Our involvement in this project included the kitchen and pantry spaces.
The architecture of the original barn presented its challenges in the planning of the kitchen, with many windows and steps in the wall, making the available wall space to furnish with cabinetry limited. Working in tandem with the architect, we developed build outs in the architectural walls to counter this issue, as well as achieve additional space by sleeving fridge, freezer and ovens into tall integrated cabinetry within the build outs.
