Hunting Lodge (Grade II)

An extensive renovation of a large 19th century hunting lodge, in which we were commissioned to design and deliver bathrooms, kitchen and dressing room spaces.

The kitchen area has been completely repurposed from what was originally a hallway thoroughfare. We have linked the new kitchen to an adjoining room with a simple knock through by way of panelled lining, which forms display shelving between the kitchen and dining area. This brings a connection to the rooms, which have opposing ceiling heights. At the far end of the kitchen we have incorporated in-built ovens, fridge and larder cabinetry around a new glazed entrance door with a pocket lining.

The master bathroom; just one of four bathrooms designed and supplied on this project, with Greek marble bath surround and vanity top. Adjoining is the dressing room area (below) in which we’ve replaced a closed entrance with an architecturally designed arch to add light and openness to the corridor, with painted cabinetry forming the wardrobe space and replicating a panelled wall.
